Dorie Clark
Dorie Clark is a marketing and media strategy consultant who previously served as the New Hampshire Communications Director for Howard Dean’s presidential campaign and headed media relations for former U.S. Labor Secretary Robert Reich’s campaign for Massachusetts governor. Clark is a former New England Press Association award-winning staff writer for the Boston Phoenix, and was a regular contributor to the Boston Globe, Boston magazine, and Commonwealth magazine. She is the former Executive Director of the Massachusetts Bicycle Coalition, a non-profit environmental advocacy group, and is an adjunct professor of government and communications at Emerson College, Tufts University, and Suffolk University. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Smith College and Harvard Divinity School, Clark lives in Somerville, Massachusetts.
Joel Gagne
Joel grew up in Hull, MA and graduated from Northeastern University. He also attended Harvard University working on a master’s degree in government. He has also completed additional programs at Harvard in Conflicts Resolution, and at the University of Chicago for Creative Writing. Joel has been involved in political campaigns for over 20 years. From working on multiple Presidential Campaigns to being a School Board member, from Mayoral Campaigns to US Senate and Governors campaigns, Joel has worked at every level. Joel also has extensive land use experience from working on power plant approvals to fighting unwanted retail development, he has covered the spectrum of land use approval situations.
